Last week’s settlement hearings didn’t just limit themselves to work comp clients.  Aside from the over $200,000.00 secured for injured Kansas workers in settlement hearings last week, there was also one particularly touching settlement hearing for a personal injury claim.  $100,000.00 was secured for the family of a victim of a tragic fatal accident that occurred in 2014.  This amount represents a combined total of policy limits and under insured motorist coverage.
