A Kansas work comp claimant represented by William L. Phalen received a court order entitling him to medical care for low back complaints earlier this week.  We took his case to preliminary hearing where the judge ordered an independent medical examination.  After reviewing the doctor’s IME report, the court designated an authorized treating physician to provide care for the claimant’s back.
